Primary maths lessons, practice and progress

Every subtopic is taught first, then practised. Your child watches a short lesson film, practises from easy to hard, and has a worked solution for every question. Revision brings back what they got wrong, and you can see how they are doing.

1Watch

Watch an animated maths lesson

Every subtopic starts with a short lesson film. The picture is drawn first, a bar model, a shape or a number line, and the working is written beside it one line at a time while a teacher's voice explains each step.

2Practise

Practise from easy to hard

Then your child practises the same subtopic: basic questions first, then intermediate, then challenge, building up to exam-style questions. Done questions turn green, and the next one is ringed, so they always know where to pick up.

A worked solution for every question

Stuck, or got one wrong? Every question has its worked solution, many as a short film, drawn and explained the way the lesson was. Your child sees the method, not just the answer.

4Revise

Revision brings back what they got wrong

A question your child got wrong does not disappear. It comes back in revision until they can do it, so a mistake becomes something they have learned.

Progress you can see

You do not need to sit beside every session. The Progress page, inside your own account, shows which chapters are done, which subtopics need more practice and where to start next time.
